CDBG Public Hearing

Notice is hereby given that the Brown Township Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Monday,
August 2, 2021 at 7:00 PM at the Brown Township Municipal Building located at 22 Brown Township
Drive, Reedsville, PA 17084. The meeting is accessible to individuals with disabilities and/or for
persons with Limited English Proficiency. If you wish to participate and require special

The purpose of the public hearing is to discuss proposed modifications for Mifflin County on behalf
of Brown Township’s Federal Fiscal Years 2018 and 2019 CDBG Program. The proposed changes for
FFY 2018 include the deletion of the Mifflin County Youth Park ADA Upgrades to Restroom Project in
the amount of $2,825.40, the reduction of the ADA Ramps & Truncated Domes Project in the
amount of $34,355.00 and the creation of the Walnut Street Sidewalk Project in the amount of
$37,180.40. All previously approved 2018 projects adopted by the Brown Township Supervisors by
Resolution remain in full force and effect.

The proposed changes for FFY 2019 include the deletion of the Honey Brook Area Flood Mitigation
Project in the amount of $74,457.00 and the creation of the Honey Creek Road Sidewalk Project in
the amount of $74,457.00 All previously approved 2019 projects adopted by the Brown Township
Supervisors by Resolution remain in full force and effect.

The Township is responsible for replacing all low and moderate income housing units that may be
demolished or converted in accordance with all Federal, statutes and regulations. This modification
will not result in displacement of any persons.
