The Brown Township Planning Commission consists of a five-member board and meets the 4th Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at the Township building and is open to the public. The BTPC reviews re-zoning requests, subdivision plans, or land development plans for compliance with the Township’s Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance and Zoning Ordinance and makes recommendations to the Board of Supervisors. The Planning Commission is also responsible for reviewing or writing any amendments to either of the above-mentioned Ordinances.
The members of the Planning Commission are appointed by the Board of Supervisors for five-year terms.
